On Monday we had a private tour of Cesky Krumlov Castle.
It is a real trip to think that real people lived in this castle and this was their home.
castle chapel
used to be a carriage,
but the last family that lived in the castle turned it into a bed frame
the door on the right is actually painted on.
i like these people, they are all about symmetry
performance hall
hallway leading up to the gardens
The castle has a Baroque theatre, it is one of two left in the world.

scaled replica of theatre
Above the theatre there is a museum for the different costumes that have survived from when the Baroque theatre was still used in the 17th and 18th centuries.
old sets and backdrops
one of the most expensive costumes in the exhibit.
it was believed to have been made for one of the last kings or princes. they know that is was made for a man because the collar is so high, if it had been made for a woman the neckline would have been different.
There was so much to see in the castle, we were able to see so much more than the average tourist.
I will forever be grateful that I have been able to spend a month in this town.
