Fernweh

    This is probably one of my favourite new words I have learned lately.  Similar in meaning to wanderlust, this epitomizes how I feel about life and how I dream about living. I am constantly traveling, the world is a teacher that you will never have in school and it will imbue lessons upon you that will never learn in a classroom.  When I stumbled upon this word on Pinterest it seemed like a perfect title for a blog, but alas, it had already been taken.  I have toyed with blogging for a few years but never really knew what to write.  I am writing my first blog post from my apartment patio in Vancouver, BC.  It has been over 17 years since I have spent an entire summer in this city and I have forgotten how much I LOVE it.  A sunny day in Vancouver beats anywhere else in Canada and makes you realize what a beautiful city you live in.  I am still figuring out what blogging is about and how to set up my page how I want.  So don't be surprised to see many changes :)
